We were both fourteen when we met at a disco. He came in with his friends and I was with mine. I was still beautiful in those days. In fact, I was at the peak of my innocence. All of the boys turned their heads when I walked by. Yet, they were no match for me. Even in those days, I was an ambitious girl. I already had my future planned out since I was twelve.
