Tsuzuki sat in a bar near the guest house that he and Anna were staying in. He still had one more gift to give her for her birthday. Shinto priests came in abundance in this country and the shinigami needed to find the right one. Tsuzuki looked along the bar to his left. A man near the other end drew his attention. He looked about fifty in his jeans and t-shirt and had just finished his last shot. Go over to him, instinct told Tsuzuki. The shinigami got up and walked over to the man. He looked up to see Tsuzuki smiling at him. He raised an eyebrow at the guy.

"Uh… can I help you?" he asked.

I remember the night I met Kitty. It was a fashion show two years ago for a fundraiser. Heh, fundraiser! I almost laugh at that word. It’s just an excuse to show off how rich you are. Sure, they say it’s for a good cause, but that’s just to make them feel better about themselves. They can’t fool me. But, I’ll save that for another rant. Back to the current story.

I somehow got invited out to this fundraiser. That lets you know what kind of people were holding this fashion show. So, yeah… I sat in the front row waiting for the models. Let’s be real here, I wasn’t there for the models or the show. I was just there for the wine. Yes, I’m not going to lie to you guys. Like I said before, I am a drunkard. I love wine. Hell, I love any sort of alcohol! This is not the point however. This is all about Kitty and I don’t think she would want me to go off on a tangent about my love affair with alcohol. So, back to her story.

I sat in the front row with my beer in my hand. No one seemed to notice me. That’s how it usually is. I am the decay of society and therefore, people must look away in disgust. I get thoughts like these over booze. My mind retreated further into my thoughts when the curtains drew up to begin the show. The lights grew dim and the spotlight flashed on bright. The president of the wine company hosting this fundraiser stepped out on stage. Wine company holding a fundraiser, ironic, I know. The man looked out at the audience.

“Oh, Becca, this is Logan. Logan, Becca.” The stripper peeked out behind me and gave a little wave.

“Hi,” she mumbled. Logan’s smile widened.

“Very rare that Michael here brings any pretty girls with him. Come, take a seat.” The girl and I quietly did so. Logan set the glass down on the counter.

Now, Tsuzuki has to battle temptation to try and stay focused for to catch the culprit. This one will be gritty than the previous books.

My eyes stayed on Silver Dreamer as she disappeared off stage after her performance. The music mixed into another song and another stripper appeared on stage. I didn’t notice this new broad. My mind was on the younger girl. I had to learn more about her. I found myself rising to my feet and following after her. I went through the narrow back way to the dressing rooms. The pink lights drowned my eyes. The scent of expensive perfume choked the air. This was where the girls got ready to entertain the smucks with their bodies. I’m willing to bet very few guys have been allowed back here. Security must be watching the show tonight. I don’t see anyone else back here.

I walked quietly through the narrow hall. My eyes scanned the many doors on either side of me. It’s like the Matrix and Alice in Wonderland back here. I’ll just have to take a guess to find my stripper. Suddenly, something caught my ears. It sounded like somebody was shouting. I strained in for a closer listen.
